Today is the day, #TeamMonochrome, to snag a much-lauded Arcadia! Remember, small-batch manufacturing means once they're gone, they're gone!
Why call this colorway hippo? It was a working title that stuck. What color is a hippo? What color is this woven wrap and ring sling? Gray ... but a mysterious, complex gray that defies description.

When you want ultimate cush, clouds on your shoulders, and gauzy layers of cotton, you want Arcadia. Named for its complex gray color, Arcadia Hippo weaves thin layers of cloth together loosely to make pillowy pockets of air with black and cream yarns, yielding an amazingly comfortable baby carrier with dramatic texture.
Arcadia showcases diagonal stretch that facilitates snuggly and supportive carries. It is unlike anything else you've ever wrapped with!
Size 3 $140 // Size 4 $150 // Size 5 $160 // Size 6 $170 // Size 7 $180 // Size 8 $190 // Size 9 $200 // B Blanket $120 // Super B Blanket $140 (blankets and scarves available in the Gear section.)
The Arcadia design, woven in all cotton to be easy care, was created by a babywearer as an homage to the beautiful botanical treasures she found with her children in her backyard and on nature walks. May this woven help you explore nature more often and in more detail with your little ones.
The color varies with the light. These stunning photos represent some of the looks Hippo achieves. However, the color may be different in person than it appears on your screen.
When Arcadia arrives it is in loom state and NEEDS to be washed before wearing to prevent thread shifting. The weave will tighten up in the wash, yet remain breathable.
