A note from Jude:
I've tested Lovat Ferns and Palatinate Ferns and I'm a huge fan of them both. I love cotton wraps, they are so versatile!
Cotton is amazingly strong and supportive, and nearly as important easy care. Lets face it we’ve all dropped our tails in a muddy puddle or stepped on them whilst attempting a transfer from car to wrap and most of us will have experienced a serious poop explosion at some point too! Although I might not be dealing with the explosions these days I do find my wraps spend a remarkable about of time on floors, either as a picnic blanket, hammock, or in the boot of a car after an emergency sleep. Having the ability to chuck a wrap in the washing machine, and if needed a quick tumble is a god send! But why cotton for carrying big kids as well as babies? Well cotton just seems to hold steady no matter how big a lump you decide to wrap, and it doesn’t seem to droop or give as much as some blends. Cotton wraps really are the workhorse of the wrap world and will I’m sure continue to make up the bulk of peoples stashes, mine included.
