AW15 new forest collection

As the last autumn leaves cling to the bare branches and the nights get dark, we are surrounded in the studio with cloth that represents the colours of the New Forest. The AW15 new forest collection has been woven onto a deep merlot warp, echoing so many icons of the season; mulled wine, forest berries, cranberry.

The first to be released will be Falling Feathers Purbeck. Woven in our signature Tussah Silk. The silk yarn was chosen to replicate the wonderful tweed textures that we see in British tailoring. Silk tussah yarn with its natural nubs and slubs lends itself beautifully to the feathers design. The Purbeck colour way is representative of the deep dark forest which is thick and dense. This particular silk has tones of grey, blue, duck egg and almost a mint green in parts.
