Partita Coastal Review
By Slings and Smiles
Base +1 (size 8)
Wrappee - 4.5 years old, 37lb, 3ft tall

Initial impressions:
The color is absolutely stunning. Pretty heavy pre-wash and fluffed up nicely after that initial wash. There is visible 3D texture after that first wash that only decreases minimally with wear.

The stretch and recoil are outstanding. When I first wrapped Kai, I knew that this wrap was meant for wearing big kids! My son felt nearly weightless and doing our favorite carry - double hammock was amazing. The grip from the elevated textures added some resistance, but the stretch made beautiful chest passes.

Wrapping Qualities:
Grip
Stretch
Recoil
Bounce
Cush
Breathable but not overly airy

Wraps similarly to the linen prototype because its on the heavier side. But the weave is looser and the texture is literally 3D and has a different type of grip. That is really the only similarity to any other EmTex that I can think of because this wrap is really in a league of its own with the stretch/bounce/grip combination.

Recommendations:
Personally I wouldn’t suggest this wrap to a newer wrapper with a newborn. They may get overwhelmed with the grip and the thick feeling. An experienced wrapper with a newborn *may* enjoy this woven, but I think it might be a little much with a small baby. I would highly suggest this wrap to someone with a child over 1. If you like grip and stretch, and like wraps on the thicker side this would be right up your alley!

Drawbacks:
Theres only 2 and I don’t have one for myself. Hahaha!

Summary:
A stretchy, grippy wrap with 3D texture that is ideal for wearing big kids in the most glorious aquamarine color. Its breathable and cushy and perfect for the coming warm months!
